DR. MARTENS WILL BE OUT OF THE OFFICE SATURDAY, JUNE 2, 2018.

** ATTENTION ALL CURRENT/FUTURE PATIENTS; unfortunately we no longer have a massage therapist in our office. We are currently looking to fill that position when we find the right match. We thank you for your understanding and your patience.

Christina K. Hoard, DC

Dr. Hoard’s cash practice hours are Monday’s at 9:15 am, 1:30 pm -3:00 pm, 5:15 pm, and 6:15 pm. Wednesday and Friday hours are 9:15 am, 2:15 pm, 3:15 pm, 4:15 pm, 5:15 pm, and 6:15 pm as of March, 2018.  These chiropractic adjustments are by appointment only with a fee of $25.00, that is due at the time of service (cash, check or credit card is accepted).

Please call our office at (269) 685-5486 to set up your appointment. We look forward to expanding the opportunity to continue to improve your health with affordable chiropractic care. I hope this will encourage you to take charge of your health, as we attempt to make chiropractic healthcare more affordable. As you use chiropractic as your primary health option, you allow your body to work and play at a higher level.  Reducing injury and optimizing overall health are the benefits of consistent chiropractic care.  Just like getting your teeth checked by the dentist or the oil in your vehicle changed by a mechanic, regular spinal checks by your chiropractor keep your spine and nervous systems stronger and operating “on all cylinders”.

I look forward to serving you as we revisit the good ole days of just taking care of you without wondering what your insurance company has to say about your healthcare.  Thank you for the possibility to branch out and start a new chapter in our clinic that I feel will focus more on you and your health.  If this does sound like the care you wish, but are unable to make the current time slot that I have set up now, call me at (269) 685-5486 and I will make additional appointment times available as the need arises to take advantage of this arrangement.

Yours in Good Health,

Christina K. Hoard, DC

Chiropractic is a safe, drug-free healthcare choice. The chiropractor performs a spinal exam to locate vertebral subluxations. A subluxation is the misalignment of a vertebra impinging upon a nerve. Spinal adjustments are performed to release nerve pressure and allow the body to work at its greatest potential. Subluxations can occur at any age from various stressors. Adjustments are safe for individuals of all ages.

"Observational study found that low back pain patients receiving chiropractic care, which typically includes spinal manipulation, are more satisfied than those receiving medical care."

  • An Apple a Day . . .

What is so good about an apple? Is it the color, ranging from ruby red to pale pink? Is it the crunch? The sweetness? Or is it, instead, a combination of all of these qualities, plus the natural goodness derived from the apple's secret ingredients — phytonutrients? If this were a multiple choice quiz, the answer would be "all of the above". Importantly, in addition to possessing numerous appealing physical qualities, apples contain an abundance of health-promoting biochemicals known as phytonutrients.1,2 These specific organic molecules are derived not only from apples but many other fresh fruits and vegetables, and help power the immune system, protect against cancer, maintain healthy eyes, and assist cells in clearing out metabolic waste products such as free radicals. ...
