This notice is pertaining to Dr. Hoard’s upcoming schedule changes.
Hoard Chiropractic Clinic has been a walk-in clinic for over 50 years (Dr. David Hoard and Dr. Christina Hoard). We complied with the pandemic recommendations to keep the waiting room capacity to a minimum by scheduling appointments. While this was helpful for that period of time, I have had many patients not show for their scheduled appointments and last-minute cancellations that leave gaps in our schedule that we are unable to fill with those needing to get an adjustment. I have thought of the “no-show fee” for these missed appointments, but I feel that it is not always collectable.
I have decided to go back to walk-ins on Mondays (9-6:45), Wednesdays (9-6:45) and Fridays (9-3:45) starting Wednesday November 16, 2022. Appointments that have already been scheduled will be honored, to the best of our ability. I strive to provide my patients with the time and care they deserve; the appointment approach does not allow me the time needed for new conditions or emergency care. Wait times will vary and I will try to keep that to a minimum as your time is important to me. We are looking into ways to let you know how busy the office is throughout the day.
As for Dr. Martens, she will continue with the scheduled appointments on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays.
Thank you for your patience as we phase out of the scheduling format. If you have any questions, please contact our office.

Chiropractic is a safe, drug-free healthcare choice. The chiropractor performs a spinal exam to locate vertebral subluxations. A subluxation is the misalignment of a vertebra impinging upon a nerve. Spinal adjustments are performed to release nerve pressure and allow the body to work at its greatest potential. Subluxations can occur at any age from various stressors. Adjustments are safe for individuals of all ages.
"Observational study found that low back pain patients receiving chiropractic care, which typically includes spinal manipulation, are more satisfied than those receiving medical care."
